The Rock Foundation

The foundation was created with the aim of addressing poverty behind closed door and making a tangible difference in the lives of disadvantaged groups in our community. We want to give back lost smiles and hope for a better tomorrow. We’re on a mission to make birthdays unforgettable for underprivileged children across Amsterdam South East. Each birthday celebration is a special moment for disadvantaged primary school pupils to feel seen, cherished and to ignite dreams.

The family-owned ice cream shop offers a variety of flavors and tastes throughout changing seasons. Besides the regular ice cream flavors, you can surprise yourself by finding new tastes everytime you visit the shop. In 2022 Dani opened a new branch in the Transvaalstraat. His grandfather has always been his biggest supporter and he allowed him to learn about the business from the inside out.

Evolve

The start-up development program enables young women to develop their confidence, self-esteem and self-love through a variety of workshops. Young women ages 18-24 also walk away with a 3 month blueprint to turn their modelling dream into a reality and a new found confidence to love the skin they are in. There’s no doubt that social media has negatively affected young people’s self-perception and mental health. The workshops will help them rediscover their worth, their voice, and who their are on the inside.

United Unplugged

United Unplugged is a one-of-a-kind event where talented musicians from various genres come together to showcase their acoustic skills. We spotlight upcoming artists to bring you a diverse and immersive musical experience that transcends the boundaries of traditional performances. Whether you’re a music enthusiast or simply looking for a fun night out, this event promises to deliver an intimate and vibrant atmosphere that will leave you wanting more. By rotating through different locations, we aim to celebrate the diversity of Amsterdam while bringing people together through the universal language of music. We are thrilled to launch this small event series every last Friday of the month from 7pm to 9pm.

Quantum Intermission

We strive to capture the creativity of up-and-coming musicians in our multi-purpose recording studio. This is the place to gather, collaborate and relax. With its top-of-the-line equipment the studio provides a unique opportunity for aspiring musicians to learn, grow, create and to take their craft to the next level.
